Pulse Sound Art and Psychoacoustics

Pulse Sound Art and Psychoacoustics, is a catalog for a fictional exhibition of contemporary sound artists held at the ICA Miami during Miami Art Week. It examines how sound can change human perception, behavior, and emotion. The book showcases the work of eight global artists. The perimeter of the spreads is representative of the perimeters of a sound exhibition space. The images and text respond to the edges of the spread while a circular graphic element randomly comes in and out of the pages at random. The book is printed with two-color ink, magenta and orange, to celebrate the vibrant art community of Miami.
